With the developing of this concept I kept close to basic design principles: my intention on this occasion, was, to cause an impression of "coming home". Nevertheless, a totally peaceful scene in warm colours would have been too static. I decided on a symetrical composition, and the foreground should stand in direct contrast to the picture centre / background. The diagonal edges support the depth effect and steer the focus on the centre. The change of cold, dark colours to warm, bright during the viewing path provide the feeling that a long and unwieldy trip reaches the end in the centre of the picture. A landing in the paradise.
